" Messenger" Mike Kimmel has been playing blues and roots music for over twenty years. He has played with some blues heavies such as Big Jack Johnson, T- Model Ford, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, and Jimbo Mathus. Mike has been invited to play in Mississippi at several juke joint festivals and on many southern U.S. blues tours. Steve Kimmel is a Minneapolis West bank legend, having played with many of Minnesota's leading blues and jazz musicians, Lamont Cranston being one band. His accomplishments are too many to list here, however, he was in a band that opened for CCR in 1967, and he is also Mike's uncle. Ed Melberg has become a well known Hammond player, and has been a regular on blues stages in the Twin Cities for over a decade.He has played with many, many local bands and is a fixture at the "road to Memphis" blues challenge. Kurt Olson is an accomplished blues player that has played and created many bands. Recently he opened up for Canned Heat while with his last band Poppa Nut.
