“This is not a sports bar,” Tjosvold said. “We want this to be a place entertainers want to come because they have receptive audiences.” Some guests might dine in the room with a lake view, then eat dessert by the stage to listen to a live performance.

“We want this to be elegant, 1950s, sort of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin feel,” Dunsmore said. “Entertainment is not an afterthought.”

They didn’t have a grand opening, but they’re hoping people will spread the word and business will gradually grow.

“We’re very excited,” Tjosvold said. “Everybody tells us that we have a really good idea, a really good concept.”

“This is a supper club with a twist,” Dunsmore said. “We just want to have fun.”
